The latest release of Practical Systems Stockbook®, designated V2020.2.0 will be available from 10:30am (AEDT) TOMORROW, Tuesday, 3rd November 2020. |
|
This release includes changes to the DNA processes within Stockbook along with improved functionality to our Live Entry functions. In addition, we also have some minor changes and bug fixes. |

Implementation Instructions |

From tomorrow morning, all Stockbook users will be able to access the download to update their software. Upon opening Stockbook you will be prompted that there is an upgrade available with a box like this. |
|
|
|
NB: If you do not get this prompt upon opening Stockbook, go to the Help tab in the main menu bar at the top of the screen, select Help, then select Check for Upgrades. |

Click 'Yes'. As the download proceeds, a box like this will appear: |
|

|
Once completed, the following box will appear. Important: When you see this you must first close your Stockbook program and then click OK.
|

|
|
|
|
PLEASE NOTE: - If you are a Stockbook Agrisphere user, please note that the Practical Systems server will not be available until after 10:30am (AEDT) to allow for the upgrade of your data on the cloud server. You will not be able to synchronise any data to the cloud until after this time but you are still able to use Stockbook on your local device.
- Once the server has been updated, from 10:30am onwards you will need to upgrade all your devices to this latest version so that you will be able to synchronise any data updates to the server.
- We recommend that you upgrade as soon as you are able. However, you will be able to continue to use an earlier version of the program on your device but you will not be able to synchronise data until you have completed the upgrade.
